In which we tell you about our many works in progress.
Homeschooling, teaching, writing, recorder playing, knitting, spinning, home renovation, gardening, anything else that comes up.
Isnt it great that kids don't think like we do...that they come up with entirely different ways of thinking?? Our goal as parents should be to keep them thinking like that...and to remember how it goes for ourselves...great post!
This is sooo strange!! I was on Ravelry, reading through different threads, "threesheeps" caught my interest, so I clicked onto her blog. There she shows a picture of a beautiful hand spun, lace scarf that looked soooo familiar to me!! So a little more clicking and voila!! It's you!! My Lace Scarf teacher!!!!!!!! I hope your spinning adventure was successful and that you will be back at Spin A Yarn soon to teach us more about spinning and such!!!
I used to be a teacher at an alternative elementary school. Now I teach my own kids at home. This is where I figure out how that's different, and try to figure out how to adjust to it. I also freely opinionate about what kids need and how school ought to be. There are lots of good discussions happening in the comments. Please chime in.
We started this blog as a place to chronicle our ongoing work on our old house, and sometimes that still comes up, as do knitting, spinning, and assorted other topics related to having a house and children.

I love the horizon line made from the straight parts of letters! Very clever, Little!
