Little insisted that this was so beautiful we had to put it on the blog. He even delayed the eating of this very delicious mango, in order for me to take the picture. This was a big sacrifice for Little, who lives on fruit and air, and particularly loves mango.
The sun was streaming into the kitchen through the back door, and the moment was very beautiful, as was the day. We have finally left the gray months behind us.
I am honored that so many people are bringing their considered opinions and ideas to these discussions, particularly the last post. Thanks, everyone, for reading and commenting.

great photo! Bunny also would live on fruit and air, and a little bit of bacon of course :-))
I'm so glad that he sees art in his everyday life!
LIttle has a good eye. That is incredibly beautiful.
Ok, I want some mango. Now!
Well done, Little. We appreciate the sacrifice of time for allowing the picture to be taken. I love the image - it shows the glistening of the juice in the mango, as well as the knife marks where the fruit was cut. One of my favourite moments prior to eating fruit is preparing it and thinking about eating it. This picture made me feel like I was awaiting a bowl of freshly prepared fruit... And now I'm hungry again. :) I must also agree with tara - he has a good eye for layout.
That is a beautiful shot. We're looking forward to lots of mangos this summer.
I sent my husband a link to this blog, but he has a thing against commenting, so I may need to filter his thoughts for you. I know he'll be interested to read what you have to say.
