In which we tell you about our many works in progress.
Homeschooling, teaching, writing, recorder playing, knitting, spinning, home renovation, gardening, anything else that comes up.
Our house feels pretty empty today but yours looks busy and productive in spite of the cold remedies. Your little spinning wheel is adorable! What a nice little yarn corner you have there.
I used to be a teacher at an alternative elementary school, then I taught my own kids at home for a few years. This is where I try to figure it all out. I sometimes freely opinionate about what kids need and how school ought to be. There are lots of good discussions happening in the comments. Please chime in.
We started this blog as a place to chronicle our ongoing work on our old house, and sometimes that still comes up, as do knitting, spinning, and assorted other topics related to having a house and children.

Looks like a good time was had by all, except perhaps by whoever had to take those vitamins.
Is it just me, or is there a bit of fog on the right side of your lens?
Definitely not just you. I noticed it too after I posted these pictures. It's all cleaned off now.
It was me with the vitamins. Feeling groggy in the head today.
Not groggy as in "addled by grog." Just a bad head cold.
We are sisters in laundry piles.
Your house looks like a good place to be.
I love this post - I may steal the idea for my own.
I've never thought of groggy in relation to grog before! I hope the vitamins did the trick.
